FEECS offers you the opportunity to carry out a technical diagnosis but what is the purpose of this?

  • To analyse existing practices in your workshop
  • To carry out a skills assessment of your employees in the machining trades
  • To identify areas for improvement

3 phases action plan

  • PHASE 1: DIAGNOSTIC PREPARATION

    • Before the diagnostic, we send a document (pre-diagnostic) to be filled in prior to the intervention in order to save time
    • Notification of the field diagnostic
    • Reminder of the objectives, the scope (location, units, activities, duration, etc.) and audit criteria
    • Determining the scope of action of the field diagnostic (established in collaboration with the company)
    • Analysing the company’s technical documents
    • Preparing a checklist of issues to be addressed
  • PHASE 2: CARRYING OUT THE DIAGNOSTIC

    • Opening meeting
    • Presentation of the speakers and definition of their role in the diagnosis
    • Reminder of the objectives and intervention plan
    • Group interviews with workshop staff in sub-groups of 4 to 5 participants
    • Monitoring a manufacturing file
    • Workstation immersion and observations
    • Interview with the workshop manager(s)
    • Interview with the team leader(s)
    • Analysis and processing of the information collected during the field audit
    • On-the-spot assessment with management
  • PHASE 3: REPORT WRITING AND FEEDBACK

    • Drafting the technical diagnostic report (at our premises)
    • The completed pre-diagnostic document
    • The observations collected during our intervention
    • Our findings and conclusions
    • Ideas for actions to be implemented without material investment
    • Actions related to material investments
    • Feedback at the customer’s site
